I made this iBooks Author preview to show some of the basics in what iBA can do but also to share some of the ways students can benefit from the differentiation that can occur as a result of implementing this in the classroom.

After watching this and looking through these steps, please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. I want to create a network of teachers who use and share iBAs.

Now Learn Advanced Steps (From Someone Smarter Than Me)
These sites are from Mr. Frank, who can do amazing things with his own widget creations. The first picture here links to his website with his widgets available for download. The second picture links to his tutorial on how to embed html and Google forms, which allows students to submit work to your folder without leaving the app!
Here are other websites you may find very useful in using widgets.

Now Envision Student Application (From Someone Smarter Than Me)
Mr. Smith had his students create their own iBooks in class. You can listen to his story at http://t.co/sierGdXCgD.
Free Multi-Touch Books
I've made a number of multi-touch books through iBooks Author. If you would like me to email them to you just let me know. I only have one iPad. I use airplay to mirror to my laptop, which is then connected to the projector. In an ideal scenario, the students would all have their own version in hand with a class set of iPads.
I have set up a share folder on Google Drive. The idea is that the more multi-touch books are present, the more people will share resources and use the program more. If you would like to learn more, or if you would like to contribute, or if you would like to use these iBooks with the intention of contributing later, please email me at [email protected].
